The Oscars
Ok, they weren't the REAL Oscars, they were the Calgary Oscars! A first annual fundraising event put on by The Green Learning Academy who is raising money to build a new school that is so needed for them to extend their services to more children. Various businesses were nominated in a wide range of categories and votes were tallied for the awards. Aside from the awards there was the papparazzi, , the red carpet, delicious food and wine and a chocolate fountain! If you missed this year's event make sure you get on their mailing list for next year. Destination Weddings
Destination weddings have really taken off! And most savy couples hire a photographer they trust rather than going with one that may be available through the resort. We learned from the best how to handle bright mid day sun and how to create beautiful light where there may be none, like in a reception or at night.
