Tyler was so fun to photograph. Usually toddlers are on the go and just won't sit still. Having worked with young children for over 20 years in Speech Pathology definately gave me some strategies. And it is always easier for me when Mom is in the consultation room so that I can connect with the children.

Just back from the Professional Photographers of Canada Provincial Image Competition. All four images that I submitted were accepted into the salon. "Round About" was an artistic corporate image entered in the Portrait Category. Porcelain Dolls was an image of two lovely sisters from Okotoks entered under Child Portrait. "Against the Elements" was a fine art male nude night scene for which I was also nominated for Best in Class for Figure Study. Protector of the Soul was entered in the Fine Art Category. Thank you to my amazing clients and models for being a part of my nomination to Portrait Photographer of the Year for the third time! One year I will make it to the trophy!
