My Visit with Velda

I had a wonderful two weeks with a very special lady. We met in university 30 years ago, yes, I was 12! Seriously, she is the most amazing woman and I love her dearly. She was great with Mozart and he misses her as much as I do. We walked in the park, photographed the wild crocuses on the ridge above Fish Creek Park, ate wonderful dinners and visited a ton.

The Kangs

The Kangs came in from Coronation to have family portraits done when their daughter Gloria completed law school!

Edi

Edi is off to another audition with updated photos. A natural in front of the lens I know he will go far.

Andrea

What fun Andrea and I had. Make up started at noon and we began the photography session by 1:30 after selecting poses and didn't finish up until 6 when we both needed to break for pizza and wine. Andrea will be back in a week to see all her images but these are some of my favourites!

The Oscars

Ok, they weren't the REAL Oscars, they were the Calgary Oscars! A first annual fundraising event put on by The Green Learning Academy who is raising money to build a new school that is so needed for them to extend their services to more children. Various businesses were nominated in a wide range of categories and votes were tallied for the awards. Aside from the awards there was the papparazzi, , the red carpet, delicious food and wine and a chocolate fountain! Miranda

Reading is Miranda's passion. She and Tamera go back to kindergarten. Now that is a true friend! I'm sure they have been through lots together and will be there for each other in this new life of adulthood. With friends like that one doesn't need best wishes but I will make them anyway. The last images to post are those of the group. By then we were all tired and I hope the girls will be back for an outdoor session once the weather warms up so we can capture their relationships on camera.
